Not quite sure of the reference, Seska. Are you talking about the Stella 13 party? Or something else?
Either way, sad to see that you still question your choices - well, questioning is okay I guess but you shouldn't be defensive. They are/were your choices and, whether wise or unwise, likely were made in the light of where in your life you were at the time.
I understand that, as you share so much in your web and blog, there will always be questioning - hell, I would love to have a one-on-one with you (err ... chat :-)) trying to find why you made those choices - would be damned interesting.
BUT, when all said and done, everyone gets up in the morning and looks at themselves in the mirror. If they can say that they have been a good person, tried not to hurt anyone, and done the best that they could, .... that's all that matters.
Compared to that, what others think, particularly those not really close to you, is trivial.

Not at all related to the Stella 13th anniversary. Among other sex workers I always feel at home. This entry was in part due to a conversation with someone important from my past who I have not always had an easy time with.
You say that it would be interesting to find out what inspired me to make the choices I have and that is the thing - I live on the margins in many ways. It makes people curious and so they ask me things they'd dare not ask others. Maybe even of themselves. It can be draining to deal with - especially when it comes from someone you share a history with.
