Just for your (and your readers') personal knowledge, anyone (regardless of gender) 18 or older can get ECPs at the local drug store WITHOUT a prescription in the US, thanks to a law passed last fall. So unless you're a minor, you don't need to see a doctor for the pills (but you do need to go for STI testing still, clearly).

I am a big time user of condoms for contraception. I used them throughout two marriages and many girlfriends and never had one break or fail in any way. I enjoy vaginal fucking using a rubber.
Have I pushed the odds or been just lucky?

I have never had one break either and I have used them LOTS. Though I have had them slip off the guy and get stuck in me a couple of times. It all comes down to using them properly and it seems you have done that. :-)
