I want to add a little update to this piece I wrote back in 2005.

I think that burlesque is always evolving and there are more artists that are still performing as burlesque artists but they do get fully naked. Then there are those that perform in certain locales and they have to cover up more (ie weird cover the under-boob laws).

it is all so interesting.
