I'm from Niagara Falls originally and I was visiting family there when this was on the news. Yes, it is awful, and I always wonder what motivates someone to do such horrible things. I'm not sure really what aspect sex work has on these things though other than as a choice of targets. As awful as it is, husbands and boy friends remain the most likely persons to murder females in almost all cases. I don't think I'll ever truly understand this fact, even though I've read enough sociobiology and psychology books to stock a library.
