GLOBAL AMERICAN DISCOURSE

Obama is so “pragmatic” that he does not value the Anglo-Saxon brotherhood.
I'm not sure that it's just pragmatism.
I don't believe that BHO feels the same bond with Anglo-Saxon culture as he does with Asian and African cultures. In other words, BHO is more global in approach, instead of focusing on European alliances.
I do wonder if BHO will forge a closer alliance with Japan. He should! But at the moment, his focus seems to be elsewhere. I don't like his getting closer in relationship with China and North Korea -- or even Russia.
Alliances should be forged carefully.
I see BHO as basically repudiating previous alliances and "starting over." That is dangerous, in my opinion, considering the various global threats from totalitarian ideologies.

That is why I used quotation marks with pragmatic. Obama will face the first test on the global stage in early April.
In addition to the London Summit and NATO Conference, North Korea is going to launch missiles.
