I was quite bummed out that I couldn't get to watch Tokyo Sonata at the Dubai Film Fest (screening clashed with Kathryn Bigelow's Hurt Locker, and I assumed that it would be harder to catch the latter) Hope it'll in the plane too when I fly back tomorrow.

I love the settings of The Magic Hour. At the beginning, I had thought that it's a period film set in the 40s... then the main guy ventures out of the town, and immediately I was like, "what the..."
