I'm sorry; I read this as "some people dislike the idea that I am married so much that they'll spitefully refuse to provide charity to third parties rather than treat me the same way they treat my married straight friends."
Which is to say: I find the charities who are threatening to walk over this to be the villains of the piece.
Aphrael, as a Christian who believes the whole Bible, I cannot donate money to an organization which flouts the Bible. And if an organization has to sacrifice its principles for PC, that organization should go under. The villain is the person who tells a Christian organization "deny your principles or die."
