Here is what happened...
The innuendo about Sharkansky was posted on a little-read blog site. Sharkansky's wife called the restaurant on a Wed. after they refused to delete it. She complained that the waitress was blogging nasty stuff about customers. The waitress was fired/resigned. On Friday, the nasty material was fed to a much more widely read blog. Only after that happened did Sharkansky identify the waitress and post some of her crazy writings.
For this he was excoriated by local left-wingers. The top local lefty blog called him a 'vindictive prick.' A few posters who identified themselves as restaurant workers advocated putting spit, toenails, and worse in Sharkansky's food when he dined out. No other lefties seemed to object to this plan. Their main point was that Sharkansky was guity of 'overreacting.'

That's ok. I understand that scientists have now determined that conservatives have brain damage. Something to do with being unable to change their thinking based on new facts. That's ok. I am sure that Sharknasty's kid's "prestigious" school has special ed.

First, I don't have my head up Sharkansky's ass. I don't know the man. What I do know is that waitresses who show so little respect for their employers as to post nasty things about customers on the internet deserve to lose their jobs. She was right when she said her job wasn't to criticize the customers but to wait on them.
Second, there's no evidence--outside of the perverted view of the waitress--that Sharkansky was either a bad tipper or that his kid was out of control. Kids aren't robots; sometimes they don't behave as well as one would like. But that doesn't give anyone license to compare them to monkeys or accuse the parents of beating them.
Third, I'm a woman. That's why my parents named me "Sharon." I don't have a penis. Now, you may have fantasies about women with penises, but it sounds pretty gross to me.
Finally, unless you have something intelligent to say, why don't you go report back to Amanda that you visited my website and "OMG! She said the waitress deserved to be fired! Conservatives are assholes!" like a good little sycophant.
I would appreciate it very much if you would remove this post with the defamatory remarks about me. Mr. Sharkansky removed his and the conflict was between his family and I. I find it unnecessary for you to dredge up this conflict just to get hits on your website. Both posts are hurtful to my family and the Sharkansky's and I implore you to take them down. I have sent this message to other websites that are posting this deleted information, so I am not specifically picking on you.

Sorry, it's my blog. I came across the information on another blog that was defending your defamatory remarks about customers at your former employer. BTW, I wrote nothing defamatory about you. I quoted you and Mr. Sharkansky. You just don't like how you come across.

That came out a little more harshly than I intended but to answer your question, no, I don't intend to take the post down. Other bloggers have discussed this story--and it is a story--and, while I understand your embarrassment, it's unfair for you to think you can expect anyone who has seen or heard about it to simply erase it like it never happened. It's also unrealistic. Don't think what you said about Sharkansky won't be brought up again the next time a left-leaning site discusses him. The fact is, once it's on the web, it's there for eternity.

Wow, I tried to be a little kinder in the last comment, but ok, you like it harsh. Yeah, I think you are an adult who should know better than to post information about CUSTOMERS on the internet just because you thought it was funny to diss a guy you obviously disliked. Oddly, when you were smacked down for it, you suddenly want every person on the internet to just forget the nasty things you said about him. Yet an adult would have recognized that what you did wouldn't go away for him--he's a public figure, at least in your area of the country--and you attacked not only him but his family because of what? He didn't tip well enough? His kid had a bad day? Was it worth it?
BTW, Steffany, I check periodically to see if any of the leftwing sites which supported you have taken down their posts. So far, they are still up. I wonder who you are contacting.
I contacted them directly, not through blog comments. They don't want to change the record, but most of them did not post what Stephan had already taken down like you did.
