When I was a kid my mother used to sometimes fry up a mess of side pork. That stuff's about half meat, half fat. It's very French Canadian. French Canadians die young.

There's a cookie that my family makes for Christmas, an old Scandinavian recipe that starts with a pound of butter.
Not only do you rock the whole "no trans fat" idea but it's BAKED--if it's baked instead of deep fried it's oh so much better for you!

I have a friend who runs a restaurant that serves old fashioned breakfasts. She says about the men who order low fat cereal, "Those men aren't going to die of transfat and cholesterol. They're going to die from worrying about them."
