My 3 year old takes everything literally. We once went to the grocery store, and I had never seen bananas so horrible. I mean, it was a whole display of brown bananas.

She wanted bananas, and I said, "We're not buying bananas today because they're all bad."

Next week, at the grocery store with her mom, she said, "Daddy said we're never allowed to buy bananas any more because they're bad."
