What u should have done? Post the neighborhood, yr, make, model, color, AND PLATE # of the jerk. If I ever saw that car behind me, or in a driveway, he would get a (very satisfying) dose of his own medicine! Who is he to decide that his time is more valuable than mine?
I suppose one of the morals of the story, one which I had to learn the hard way myself, because I was once under a different impression, is that not everybody who is frum is s sooper nice person.
There was a time when I thought that because one wore tzitzis and a yarmulke, that they must be a wonderful person who walks humbly with their God.
Unfortunately, as you now too have realized (although probably have more experience than me in such matters, as I don't live in a frum community), not always.
What matters is you did the right thing and just walked away.
