I find the idea of a faith school which doesn't discriminate in favour of the faith which sponsors the school an absurdity. Of course they should discriminate. However if the state believes that discrimination is wrong then it is quite simply the case that faith schools should not be funded from the public purse.

In my own opinion the Swedish voucher system should be used allowing parents to send the fruit of their loins to whatever school they choose, and if that is a faith school which teaches evolution is balls, or some other piece of religious dogma then so be it.

I trust parents to choose, I think when given the responsibility of choice most people will do just fine.
