Tell me about your mother....

Gravatar the thing that angers me the most about our political discourse right now is the desire to label everyone and every opinion. once it's labeled then there seems to be this freedom to dismiss anything said simply because the source was tainted by the wrong label.

if we could somehow get past that and actually discuss the issues all would be much better. i also have other documented moments of unrealistic optimism.

Gravatar Tommy, see this:

We aim to please.

Gravatar I don't vote, not because I don't want to but because I'm still waiting in line, waiting for permission to do so.

I hear the voting booths used to have a "Democratic" lever and a "Republican" lever to simplify the voting experience for those wishing to do so. Is this still the case?

If it is, it is exemplary (symptomatic?) of that which I fear most in America today: thoughtlessness and carelessness.

It's like I always say about one of my biggest pet peeves: Americans often say "I don't care" instead of "I don't mind" and vice-versa; scary part is they know no better.

Gravatar I went over there, thanks for the tip. I told him "S, C and A sent me." Do you think I should send him some pictures of kitties, too?

Gravatar Do I know you, Meli?
