Well, docs, you've hit on a number of my pet peeves... and this time we're on the same side of every issue you addressed. (Miracles do happen!)

The sins committed by the average McMansion developer are legion... including making people believe that they need these huge piles of crappy design and construction so badly that they're willing to take out interest-only, zero-down mortgages (the #1 sin, in my book, of mortgage companies) in order to "own" one.

Great anecdote about the bathroom. If I were going to have a hammock and a waterfall in one place in my house, that would not be it. Of course, this being the south, if I were going to have a waterfall in one room of my house it would be because the roof leaked.
