the media get it. don't think otherwise. however, the corporate-owned media do not wish to publicize this story at all. it does not conform to their right-wing vision of things. they simply kill those stories that don't please them.

The problem, evangenital, is that most of the media is corporate owned, and something of that kind just gets automatically scrambled and dispersed by thier radar; regardless of newsworthyness.
People deal with this phenomenon as if it was just the style of our times. Unfortunately, editing and virtually changing the news is the death knell of actual reportage or journalism. As long as the Corporations run everything they will determine what we see and hear. This will not change until the entire power structure goes to a populace who wants the truth.
Indifference seems to be a chronic, apparently fatal disease.

Since the proposed ballot initiative is being pushed/backed/drafted by a "coalition of Christian groups"

-doesn't that make this legislation based upon religious beliefs? Isn't that in itself unconstitutional?
If anyone cares to be even more outraged, check this out for a peek into their grass roots movement-http://www.valuesadvocacycouncil.org/

Is anyone else reminded of the Nuremberg laws(not to be confused with the Nuremberg trials)?
