I wish she felt stronger about rebuffing them and talking to whom ever. What a treat that would be. Perhaps, her own words should get out about how the RNC was gagging her and not allowing her to speak to anyone. This is what the Republicans are all about, putting on the appearance that they are for the rights of citizens.

I never knew CNN commentator Roland Martin was such a homophobe. Check out this interview with Max Blumenthal in which Martin defends Donnie McClurkin (at 2:21): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X...h?

LOL, Max Blumenthal was trying to interview one of McCain's daughters and Roberta McCain suddenly perks up and looks like she is dying to comment. But McCain's daughter waves her off. Pretty funny (@ 1:23): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q...h?v=Q-

It really did seem that the republican party was about family. Two of them! The Bush's and the McCain's. Scary. And did you notice Georgie stole the "brothers and sisters" line from Obama? The nerve to call anyone who does not agree with those extremists angry leftists. I have never in my life been so appalled at the kettle being called black.

Mike, there is at least one high profile public commentator who has condemned Palin:
"I am extremely disappointed in the choice of Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential candidate of the Republican Party." ... "I am haunted by the family pictures of the Palins during political photo-ops, showing the eldest daughter, now pregnant with her own child, cuddling the family’s newborn. When Mom and Dad both work full-time (no matter how many folks get involved with the children), it becomes a somewhat chaotic situation. Certainly, if a child becomes ill and is rushed to the hospital, and you’re on the hotline with both Israel and Iran as nuclear tempers are flaring, where’s your attention going to be? Where should your attention be? Well, once you put your hand on the Bible and make that oath, your attention has to be with the government of the United States of America."
Oh, btw, you know who said that? Dr. Laura Schlessinger!!!! Yep, fucking Dr. Laura!!!! I would love to hear pig Guiliani comment on that.

What an interesting juxtaposition...
...no one EVER thought of quashing what "Miss Lilian" Carter had to say back in '76!! Not that anyone ever could!
Makes me wonder just WHAT "Miss Roberta" has to SAY!
[I'm Southern... I refer to females as "Miss Firstname" as a sign of respect. Deal wid it.]

You are doing such a great job covering the Republican convention. I'm so thankful you are there to get us snippets like this. Poor Mama. Quite the insiders view! Keep up the good work!
