The man is dead and his own homophobic remarks are on the record. He will be remembered as a bigot. That is enough for me because like Allen White, so many of my friends are already gone. That is a chapter that is over for me. I do not need to go around calling Helms a crossdresser if there is no evidence. It belittles the memory of those no longer here.
