Totally agree with you. I also think the youngsters should be forgiven if they do make the odd mistake as they learn.

Oh yes, the Championship League Title beckons. Someone has to win it, why not us!

And if we don't win it lets have a good time trying.
I'm wearing my brand new shirt tommorrow (first since 92) and two old silk scarves from the 70's - bit of new look and old luck....

CA, you moved too soon! Looks like Cory Gibbs could be appearing in Chicago later this season. I'll send a picture, as I know many Addicks think he never really existed.

Thanks Scott. I understand that the Fire have signed McBride too?

Indeed the Fire signed McBride. We're excited about having Blanco sending balls into McBride. But first Brian needs to see out the Olympics. After the Dutch game I'm encouraged that the US can go deep into the tournament.

CA - It's not that simple. Remember you can't just sign with an MLS team because it's a communist organization. Instead you sign with the league, and a team then has your allocation rights through some Rube-Goldberg-like machinations. (That's how McBride ended up in Chicago -- the Fire had to trade with Toronto for his allocation rights.) LA has the allocation rights for Gibbs, and you'd think he'd end up there in due course. But in view of the sacking of Lalas and Gullit today, who knows?
