If it's any consolation, Laura, Boston does have a better selection of radio stations than Chicago, which I attribute directly to the college students. Chicago's schools don't take much of an interest in radio programming, as opposed to the really excellent WERS, and the less-excellent-but-still-adventurous WUMB and whatever the hell that Harvard station is that comes in every once in a while.
