Pandora rocks! But I'm not enough of a music geek to go to a "town hall" meeting.
And by the way, what is with everyone calling their meeting "town hall" when they do not take place in a municipal building? Is that supposed to make it feel more democratic or something?

I've only had one problem with pandora. One of my favorite rappers is this guy named Brother Ali, and I wanted to use his as the reference for creating a radio station. But for some reason, he's NOT ON PANDORA!? Why the hell not? Admittedly he's not on some big name label, but other artists from his label (Rhymesayers) are on Pandora. Even the less popular ones!! I just don't get it? And there's no way I'm spelling "Brother" or "Ali" wrong.
On another note, Ian, why does my girlfriend comment more on your blog then on mine?

Don't know about the girlfriend thing, J. She apparently loves the box a lot.
But to get back to Pandora for real, I bet a fan from Rhymesayers' other artists just emailed Pandora to request certain artists be added. One of the great things about a smaller, developing technology like Pandora is that they actually respond to feedback, especially suggestions for music to add. I think there are, however, some licensing agreements at play, so it's always possible that Pandora can't get permission to play a certain artist, but those artists would be few and far between.
