I wrote to Kay Baily Hutchison when Pandora did it's Day of Silence a few weeks ago. (Yes, she's a Republican, I live in TX.) Someone write to a liberal for me! (I'll settle for Ted Kennedy, even.)

I received a letter from Kay Bailey Hutchison (albeit drafed by an aid) today. (As I just sent off another letter on the issue, she's going to think I'm an idiot.) Senator Hutchison told me she's not on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary (to whom the issue has been referred) but will keep my concerns "in mind." (I'm choosing to be optimistic on this.)

This is something to keep in mind when you're contacting your Senators.
