Hillbilly is only correct if you are referencing backward ass country f**ks who live in the Appalachian or Ozark mountains.
I hate to bring this up, but you know when you are constructing a sentence about how somebody is stupid, you need to quadruple-check for typos. And then check a few more times for good measure.

There is supposed to be an "are" between the "they" and the "too." (Just think of it as comforting proof that while you are a computer geek, you aren't an autistic computer geek, and you have no career chances as a professional proofreader...)
Oh, yeah, and speaking as a proud descendent of people who moved to western Kentucky in the 1790's, I gotta agree with trouble that the correct technical term is white trash. (And are they ever! I've always preferred the word "redneck", but don't consider it a bad thing.
Trailer trash? You don't actually need to live in a trailer to fall into that category, just look at the Clintons.
I consider my self somewhat of a redneck, so that's out and while "trailer trash" captures the essence of what I am saying, it does seem to require a "trailer".

I believe trailor trash is the term you want, and it's only elitist if you believe your favored status as non-trailor trash should allow you certain things it doesn't allow them, like, say, breathing.
If you think it allows you certain things like, say, the money you earn, then that's not elitist, because they could earn money too. Hypothetically speaking.
