Gravatar "dumping the skull on the banquet table is a bit of a faux pas these days"

You're all together too much!

Much love to you, my friend, from a fellow skull-dumper.

Gravatar A large part of what is wrong with our culture these days is the avoidance of those things deemed by some presumed higher power to be "politically correct." Truth, openness, honesty, directness are needed if we ever expect to collectively move toward solutions to our myriad problems. You have rightfully taken that approach with your "skull-dumping."

Gravatar About the skull, just tell them it's Del's!

Gravatar maybe it's true that we have become too guilt ridden about the state of the world and feel compelled to make it all better. i sometimes feel that responsibility but as i grow older (and maybe wiser :-)) i become more accepting of the way we are evolving and realise that need to balance creating joy in the present with ensuring the future generations don't have too much mess to clean up. but what if that is the case..maybe that is how it is supposed to be.

yesterday ian paisley of the DUP and gerry adams of the IRA sat down together for the first time ever. piasley was well known for saying "never, never, never, never" about engaging with sinn fein in anyway at all.

maybe he realised the new generation wanted this to happen and he's going to die soon anyway. maybe he's got wiser and more accepting of the process of conflict, dialogue, acceptance and reconciliation.

so maybe it's dialogue and death....both are inevitable.

Gravatar I miss your voice here.
