Our traditions are key elements in the ego deflation process necessary to achieve and maintain sobriety in Alcoholics Anonymous. The first tradition reminds me not to take credit, or authority, for my recovery. ...Deferring my personal desires for the greater good of group growth contributes toward A.A. unity that is central to allrecovery. This statement from a fully indoctrinated A.A. member sounds like something you'd learn the first day in Principles of Brainwashing 101, doesn't it? For those who are not comfortable with this viewpoint, or who would put a positive spin on the self invalidating principles inextricably bound to what Alcoholics Anonymous calls "recovery," let us examine further some of the mental shenanigans, evasive tactics, and thought control techniques from which the fabric of A.A. is woven. Of course, we know and humbly accept that the brilliant light A.A. shines on us all with only the best intentions, but we also know the stuff with which the road to hell is paved.

"The other day, someone told me that A.A. was a brainwashing organization. I figure my brain is so messed up it could use a good washing." Direct quote from a member at a Toledo, Ohio A.A. meeting.

If we acknowledge, as do most thinking people, that language, and the chosen vocabulary of any movement or philosophical system are important determinants of its thought and action, and that the semantics common to a group or society reveals much about the inner workings of any organization or culture, we can draw meaningful insight into the fundamental nature of any such group by examining the words and phrases it uses to express itself, as well as the sub-texts implicit in these expressions, sub-texts which, in Alcoholics Anonymous, are clearly crippling and destructive.

The steps are presented as a "spiritual, not religious" way of recovery from, at last count, over 500 different "diseases." Group members, who now number between 10 and 15 million, often claim the steps are responsible for saving their lives.

The first three of the twelve steps are:

1. We admitted we were powerless over (insert any one of over 500 "spiritual diseases") and our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

These first steps serve the purpose of breaking down the new recruit's autonomy. In the first step, the "pigeon" or "baby" must admit that he has no resources within himself to change his own behavior and, although rarely stated directly, that he can't make his own decisions in life. Someone else must do that for him.

In the second step, he generally must first confess insanity; that he can not trust his own thoughts. He now must choose a "higher power." While much pretense is given to a freedom of choice on what one choooses for a higher power, the main point is that the indoctrinee looks to the group elders and doctrine, rather than his own conscience and religious beliefs, for a definition of that God. Although he can't trust his own thoughts, he can trust the elders and doctrine.

For example, if someone, as the A.A. story goes, should choose a doorknob as his higher power, he will be constantly confronted on how to relate to it. In the third step, he must turn his will and life over to the doorknob, and in later steps pray to it in a specific fashion. Whatever his prior religious beliefs, piece by piece, he will be pressured to accept A.A. doctrinal beliefs about God.

Much of the language of the steps was carefully chosen to avoid "confusing" potential recruits. They might reject "the program" as a religious sect. The word "sin" was changed to "defects of character," "confess" to "admit," "wretched sinner" to "powerless," "God" to "higher power," "confession" to "fifth step sharing," "bearing witness" to twelfth step sharing" and "conversion" or "recruitment" to "carrying the message."
Early A.A. members knew that if they were seen as just another religious sect they would have to follow the rules other religious groups happily abide by in this country. They changed their language and changed the sacred text from the Bible to "The Big Book." They changed their self-description from their pro-Nazi forerunner group's "more spiritual than religious" to "spiritual not religious." This enabled a religious mind-control cult to better deceive not only potential recruits, but to great success in infiltrating all our national institutions.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a "cult of necrophilia." I am not saying here that there is some kind of bizarre sexual ritual involving dead bodies in AA meetings. What this means is that there is a fascination with death. The cult revolves around death. I remember when I went to AA I would here the common statement, something to the effect of, "I felt terrible earlier today, then I went to a meeting and now I feel just great!"

I wondered why I never felt great after a meeting. Meetings usually had no effect on me but often I found them down right creepy. Why? Because I am not a necrophiliac, I don't get off on sitting around talking about how we will die of alcoholism if we don't ingest this religious crap.

But the creepiness goes a little deeper than that. In order for the cult to function some members must die from alcoholism. Those members who "cannot or will not" resign themselves to the religio-fascist structure of the cult can only be of value to the cult if they are:
1. Constantly relapsing.
2. Dead.

Consider these examples:

All of us in A.A. know the tremendous happiness that is in our sobriety, but there are also tragedies. My sponsor, Jackie, was one of these. He brought in many of our original members, yet he himself could not make it and died of alcoholism.

After being dry two weeks and sticking close to Jackie, all of a sudden I found I had become the sponsor of my sponsor, for he was suddenly taken drunk. I was startled to learn that he had only been off the booze for a month or so himself when he brought me the message!

The Boston group provided us with a fresh wonder and a big heartbreak, too. Its founder could never get sober himself and he finally died of alcoholism. Paddy was just too sick to make it. Slip followed slip, but he came back each time to carry A.A.'s message, at which he was amazingly successful. Time after time the group nursed him back to life. Then came the last bender, and that was it. This very sick man left behind him a great group and a triple-A rating for valor. His first two successes, Bert C. and Jennie B., carry on to this day.

AA was already established in South Africa when Marty arrived, with a ready pool of interested and willing citizens. It had been started in that country by a relapsing alcoholic, "Johnny Appleseed." He was a gifted businessman and highly successful proponent of AA, but he could not stay sober. Regardless, wherever he traveled and got drunk and sobered up, he left literature about AA.

Satan immediately rewarded Wilson with an incredible occultic "experience." In Wilson's own words, "Suddenly the room lit up with a great "white light." I was caught up into an ecstasy which there are no words to describe. It seemed to me, in the mind's eye, that I was on a mountain and that a wind not of air but of spirit was blowing. And then it burst upon me that I was a free man. Slowly the ecstasy subsided. I lay on the bed, but now for a time I was in another world, a new world of consciousness. All about me and through me there was a wonderful feeling of Presence..."
and because of that experience, Alcoholics Anonymous was founded so that others could share in Bill Wilson's experience. References to similar experiences with "white light" can be found throughout the world of the occult.

Mr. Bill Wilson, founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) and creator of the twelve step program. Mr. Wilson was heavily influenced by demons. Chapter sixteen (p. 275f) of 'Pass It On' The Story of Bill Wilson and how the A.A. message reached the world records Mr. Wilson's use of the ouija board, participation in seances, psychic events, "spook sessions", table levitation, and how he would receive "messages" from "discarnate" spirits. Bill Wilson was clearly in contact with demons, and this is the man who created the deceptive twelve step program. Make a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. (step #11. Emphasis added.) The last part of this statement ("as we understood Him") is enough to damn your soul! God says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5). This is the exact opposite of "God as we understood Him." All men, according to Romans 1:18-32, are condemned before God, because they rely upon their own understanding (Romans 1:21; Ephesians 4:18, "having their understanding darkened"), and they create (in their own darkened minds) a god of their own making (Romans 1:23). To encourage people to turn their "lives over to the care of God as we understood Him", is to encourage people to "turn their lives over to a god of their own making" (i.e. according to their own understanding). This promotes nothing more than spiritual death (Revelation 22:15). In addition, these twelve steps are a deceitful attack against the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ (i.e. they are against Christ, antichrist, 2 John 7; Colossians 2:8-10).

Bill Wilson documented this vicious behavior in official A.A. literature, and even bragged about it, and offered this story as an example of how to deal with the problem of non-believers who stubbornly refuse religious conversion.

Mr. Wilson rationalized the whole story by saying that if they had just kicked Ed out for "blasphemy", in the beginning when he refused religious conversion, then the man would never have come to God. So deal with such guys the way that this story teaches:

Nowadays, when oldtimers who know Ed foregather, they exclaim, "What if we had actually succeeded in throwing Ed out for blasphemy? What would have happened to him and all the others he later helped?"

Isn't it funny that criticizing the hypocritical religiosity of Alcoholics Anonymous is "blasphemy"? Criticizing Bill Wilson's bombastic preaching is "blasphemy", punishable by death? Who does Bill Wilson think he is, the Pope? Or Grand Inquisitor Torquemada?

Also note the total denial there: Bill Wilson and the other elders basically did throw Ed out. They ostracized him, they 'bad-vibed' him, "all fraternal charity vanished", they wished that Ed would relapse, and then they abandoned Ed to death by alcohol when he relapsed. Then they sanctimoniously pretended that they had done no such things.

Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

And there is a similar story in the Big Book, on pages 246 and 247 of the third edition (page 228 of the 4th edition), Jim Burwell's story The Vicious Cycle, where we read:

Much later I discovered the elders held many prayer meetings hoping to find a way to give me [a non-believer] the heave-ho but at the same time stay tolerant and spiritual.

"Stay tolerant and spiritual"? Isn't that a laugh?

Those "elders" sure had funny ideas of tolerance and spirituality:

* According to the standard A.A. dogma, you will die a horrible drunken death from alcoholism if you leave Alcoholics Anonymous -- "Nobody can do it alone", they say.
* They say that alcoholism is a "progressive disease", and that you don't have any control over it -- you are "powerless" over alcohol -- so kicking someone out of A.A. and abandoning him to alcoholism is (according to A.A.) imposing a very cruel slow death sentence on him.
* But somehow, "the elders" imagined that they could do that to a fellow Alcoholics Anonymous member, and still be "tolerant and spiritual."
* So those smug, sanctimonious hypocrites held many prayer meetings, seeking just the right "spiritual" way to send Jim Burwell to his death.

Bill Wilson really had a mean, hateful, side to him (which is typical of Narcissistic Personality Disorder). He self-righteously condemned men to slow painful deaths by alcohol for not believing in God in the way that Bill dictated. Bill Wilson only granted

Bill Wilson documented this vicious behavior in official A.A. literature, and even bragged about it, and offered this story as an example of how to deal with the problem of non-believers who stubbornly refuse religious conversion.

Mr. Wilson rationalized the whole story by saying that if they had just kicked Ed out for "blasphemy", in the beginning when he refused religious conversion, then the man would never have come to God. So deal with such guys the way that this story teaches:

Nowadays, when oldtimers who know Ed foregather, they exclaim, "What if we had actually succeeded in throwing Ed out for blasphemy? What would have happened to him and all the others he later helped?"

Isn't it funny that criticizing the hypocritical religiosity of Alcoholics Anonymous is "blasphemy"? Criticizing Bill Wilson's bombastic preaching is "blasphemy", punishable by death? Who does Bill Wilson think he is, the Pope? Or Grand Inquisitor Torquemada?

Also note the total denial there: Bill Wilson and the other elders basically did throw Ed out. They ostracized him, they 'bad-vibed' him, "all fraternal charity vanished", they wished that Ed would relapse, and then they abandoned Ed to death by alcohol when he relapsed. Then they sanctimoniously pretended that they had done no such things.

Denial isn't just a river in Egypt.

And there is a similar story in the Big Book, on pages 246 and 247 of the third edition (page 228 of the 4th edition), Jim Burwell's story The Vicious Cycle, where we read:

Much later I discovered the elders held many prayer meetings hoping to find a way to give me [a non-believer] the heave-ho but at the same time stay tolerant and spiritual.

Those "elders" sure had funny ideas of tolerance and spirituality:

* According to the standard A.A. dogma, you will die a horrible drunken death from alcoholism if you leave Alcoholics Anonymous -- "Nobody can do it alone", they say.
* They say that alcoholism is a "progressive disease", and that you don't have any control over it -- you are "powerless" over alcohol -- so kicking someone out of A.A. and abandoning him to alcoholism is (according to A.A.) imposing a very cruel slow death sentence on him.
* But somehow, "the elders" imagined that they could do that to a fellow Alcoholics Anonymous member, and still be "tolerant and spiritual."
* So those smug, sanctimonious hypocrites held many prayer meetings, seeking just the right "spiritual" way to send Jim Burwell to his death.

Three years ago I was wandering around [mental hospital] completely shattered physically, emotionally and spiritually. The mental torment I was experiencing was absolutely terrifying. Every waking second, I was having horrifying images from my past. I thought I was being punished for my past sins. My whole life flashed before my eyes and I felt I had failed miserably in my journey through life. The whole experience was an awakening [THE LONG DARK NIGHT OF THE SOUL] a metamorphosis. God was slowly penetrating the shield I had put up all those desperate years. I had no “I” - that is what God wanted for me, to become Christ cantered, not “I” cantered [in retrospect]. I imagine 12 Step recovery programs are a slow slide into the jaws of Satan. I was involved with this evil “satanic cult” [AA] for over 30 years but was saved through the power of Jesus Christ. He directed me to a therapist who was into “real” recovery, not the mind destroying, soul destroying, cult, which is AA. I have met two Steppers recently & I imagine they are completely devoid of any emotion or insight. I feel pain because both these men are decent human beings but AA has destroyed their individuality & they have no idea how to relate apart from expounding AA propaganda. I imagine Hell to be a continuous flow of AA meetings without any light at the end of the tunnel because one never recovers'. I beg you people who are in 12 Step programs, to get out before it is too late.
How does one recover when one is handing one’s power over to AA. The 12 Steps were written out of Wilson’s head, he certainly didn’t get his guidance from the Bible. I imagine he was an agent of Satan & he & Smith’s “cult religion” has filled millions of Steppers with their anti - Christ propaganda.
Step Three of AA is "Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him." While many in the Oxford Group placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, there was much leeway given. Shoemaker, a leader of the Oxford Group, says, "The true meaning of faith is self-surrender to God." He further explains: Surrender to whatever you know about Him, or believe must be the truth about Him. Surrender to Him, if necessary, in total ignorance of Him. Far more important that you touch Him than that you understand Him at first. Put yourself in His hands. Whatever He is, as William James said, He is more ideal than we are. Make the leap. Give yourself to Him.
Aside from capitalizing the "H," which Christians do to refer to the God of the Bible, "Him" could refer to any god of one’s own making [BEDPAN].
Can you see what is happening to you? Ask Jesus to take control of your lives, read the Bible & instead of 12 Step groups, go to Church. Burn your Big Book or use it as TOILET PAPER Can you see the difference: With The 12 Steps, you never recover but with John 3:16 you are guaranteed Eternal Salvation. The “ball is in your court”?

I imagine AA to be a cancerous growth in our society. I'm a SINNER who has been sober for over 22 years. I've seen this "cult" virtually destroy people where they become these Bill & Bob zombies devoid of any emotion. I imagine most of the Steppers are not dealing with their core issues and become addicted to the "droning Bill & Bob heads" who pop up and expel meaningless diatribe from their mouths. Alcoholism is the only "disease" one doesn't recover from & one is continually confessing ones non - existent sins, which intensify the guilt and fear when one is not at a meeting (indoctrination session). I imagine AA meetings numb and shutdown the critical thinking section of ones brain. I know a guy who has been sober for over 30 years and I imagine him to be quite mad - he doesn't even know what he's feeling most of the time apart from feeling depressed. I imagine AA to be the road to hell and that it's anti - Christ and the Steppers sell their souls to the "cult", because they are too terrified to face their “demons” & recover their true selves. That "inner child" who is waiting to be freed is slowly pushed down until it disappears into oblivion. That "child" is God! "Unless you become like little children...." "The kingdom of God is within you!" I hear things like; "I need to do the Steps!" "I need more meetings!" "I had cancer or my wife died or I lost my job!" "But! Guess what! I didn't pick up a drink". They might as well say; "I fell of my chair but I didn’t pick up a drink”! "Meaningless”! Why? Because one is not expressing ones feelings! Ones process is all about feelings! How does one recover if one doesn’t feel ones pain, fear, & shame & understand that these feelings, especially if they are overwhelming; are feelings, from ones childhood. All AA does is suppress these feelings until one ends up a semi - depressed zombie like the lunatic who has been sober for over 30 years. Can you see how dangerous this "cult" is? A madman, Bill Wilson, started it and if you want to end up like him, keep going to meetings. The sure way to insanity is "Meetings!" "Meetings!" "Meetings!"

Gravatar Oxford group soul surgery techniques called for augmentation of guilt leading to the conversion experience. The alcoholics had learned, through their own conversion, a different method, augmentation of fear with an initial diminution of guilt. “It’s not your fault it’s a disease. There is nothing you can do about it. You’ll die unless you believe.” When a person was properly convinced & reached a point of proper desperation, guilt was then applied to bring about conversion of God control. These new groupers [Steppers] were motivated not primarily by guilt, but by fear. The other groupers [Steppers] being god controlled through guilt would use guilt to manipulate others.

I don't attend AA meetings anymore -- thank God. I imagine leaving AA becomes more difficult the longer one has been exposed to this evil, soul-destroying cult. I read with some sadness of a Stepper who wanted to leave but found it difficult because AA was his whole life. One becomes trapped & I imagine most Steppers feel safe albeit quite isolated from the real world. I imagine most Steppers don't have the guts to quit (AA) because of the indoctrination ("If you quit AA -- You will drink").
My process (recovery) started in 1994 (therapy, etc) but it took me many years to make a complete break from all 12 Step programs (I was also going to SLAA, CODA, ACOA). I imagine most alcoholics are terrified of intimacy (emotional cowards) & attending 12 Step programs is the ultimate escape (from intimacy). I would suggest that quite a few of the Steppers are "pussies" because they won’t face life "full on" without the "crutch" of 12 Step programs.

Mr. Bill Wilson, who was heavily influenced by demons, was founder of Alcoholics Anonymous (A.A.) and creator of the twelve-step program.

Chapter sixteen (p. 275f) of 'Pass It On' The Story of Bill Wilson and how the A.A. message reached the world records Mr. Wilson's use of the ouija board, participation in séances, psychic events, "spook sessions", table levitation, and how he would receive "messages" from "discarnate" spirits.

Bill Wilson was clearly in contact with demons, and this is the man who created the deceptive twelve-step program.

Make a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God, as we understood Him. (Step #11.) The last part of this statement ("as we understood Him") is enough to damn your soul! God says, Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.(Proverbs 3:5).

This is the exact opposite of "God as we understood Him." All men, according to Romans 1:18-32, are condemned before God, because they rely upon their own understanding (Romans 1:21; Ephesians 4:18, "having their understanding darkened"), and they create (in their own darkened minds) a god of their own making (Romans 1:23).

To encourage people to turn their "lives over to the care of God as we understood Him", is to encourage people to "turn their lives over to a god of their own making" (i.e. according to their own understanding).

This promotes nothing more than spiritual death (Revelation 22:15). In addition, these twelve steps are a deceitful attack against the saving work of the Lord Jesus Christ (i.e. they are against Christ, anti-Christ, 2 John 7; Colossians 2:8-10).

The twelve steps are (as Mr. Wilson used them) given as an answer (a way) in which one can overcome sin (with Mr. Wilson's case, the sin of drunkenness).

Jesus Christ is the ONLY answer for sin. He is the only way (John 14:6). There is only ONE "step", and that is faith in the Saviour (Ephesians 2:8/Matthew1:21/John 8:36/Romans10: 13!

The above exemplifies the "twelve steps" are what are used to "become free from addictive, compulsive" behaviour (i.e. sin). In other words, the twelve steps are the saviour!

No doubt it is deceptive, because "Biblical principles" are interwoven throughout; but if they weren't, few (if any) would be deceived. One good question to ask would be, "Where does Scripture talk about any 'twelve steps'"? The answer? Nowhere!

These twelve steps come from Satan (via Bill Wilson), who is the master deceiver (Revelation 12:9). Remember, SATAN used Scripture to tempt Christ (Matthew 4:6), and Balaam spoke much truth (Numbers 23-24); but he was a false prophet (2 Peter 2:15-16/Numbers 22).
