Oh My! That is so cute. I love it! My girls are getting older now and sometimes I wish I had done more of those crafty things when they were little.

Hey! THis is GREAT!!! I love that you have little chairs for this table... my kids love their little map table, but there arent any chairs... I don't think i ever responded to you about the Mod Podge and if you NEEEEED to poly finish it or not --- we havent had any problems with it un-poly'ed (yea, i made up that spelling lol) except when a very wet/sweaty glass was left on it for a while... it left a ring, which faded when it dried back out. We have since poly'ed it 
BUT I LOVE LOVE LOVE your artwork and am now wondering to myself what else i can decoupage haha.... I saw an idea for a little wooden crate: paint it, decoupage the end and slats (or every other) and glue on wooden letters for the kiddos names ... i just happen to have the letters for their names (got for 10 cents each at a garage sale).............. happy to see you online and crafting...even if only for 5 minute spurts!

Amy - cough cough....after TWO emails you never answered me so i did it my own dang self lol.
I did do a coat of poly on it. I was afraid it would be sticky but it's not too bad unless i put a vinyl mat on it but even then it's okay. Some of they poly did seep through to the paper on one side (just a little bit) but now i know what to do better next time.
It's totally fun to rip up a book for this. I was going to do richard scarry's cars and things that go book since it's little dude's favorite but i figured this one is more neutral. I love it!
I'm going to do a suitcase next and whatever else i can find that needs some new life.

Life with kids is an adventure ... And yes, Adam bugs the heck outta Jonah! Gets all in his face and whatnot... ALWAYS wants what Jonah has and Jonah has recently started SCREAMING as a defense (and sometimes in anticipation of his brother's agrivation!) And yessssssssss i AM going crazy
