Paul and Obama? Interesting! They are polar opposites on domestic policy.

I'm actually not very concerned domestically as much as i am internationally - the reason i dislike the republican party so much. I want someone who doesn't want the whole world to look like america.

You know, those articles were written by a person who was trying to help Ron Paul get support in a very foolish way. Ron Paul does not support those views or hold them as his own, and all of this came out in 1996 when he was running for congress. He still won because everything Ron Paul has ever said and any actions he has taken show that he is not racist, anti-semitic or homophobic... and he has expressed disappointment about what was written in those newsletters and acknowledged that he should have been paying closer attention to what was being said under his name. There is no coincidence that this article about a topic that has long since been put to rest was published in the new republic the day before the new hampshire primaries.
Anyway - I love the idea of Obama-Paul 2008. It would prove that Obama is truly as "post-partisan" as he says he is, and send a powerful message to the world about a new direction for USA. In the same sense - I think Paul should run with Kucinich as his vice

Interesting. I do still like the guy but not as much. I'm liking his anti-war sentiment. But if he's at all racist they may not mesh with Obama.
