Gravatar Aw... what a sweet little feller.

My son is very sensitive, also, and has never said a mean thing yet (at 27). This world is hard for sensitive people (and their mothers). But, truthfully, I don't know that it's much easier for those who aren't. Just different. I'll hang out with the sensitive ones any day.

Gravatar how cute mashallah.. made me smile for the rest of the day. We have this dinosaur book at home where some of the dinosaur eggs get eaten, Ayman was devistated... he was upset for days and still asks me about it now and again! I sometimes think boys can be alot more sensitive than girls!!

When will LD start school, Ayman starts this Sept and i am dreading it, still toying with home ed but i know he needs the 'atmosphere' of school and class mates, if u know what im getting at!

Aisha x

Gravatar awww, and I repeat, what a sweetie. That reminds me of when I was in gr.2 walking home from school on a rainy day. All the worms were out on the side of the road and some kid was squishing them. I got so mad and pushed him out of the way and said "stop killing them"

Gravatar Carol - it's very true what you said.

Aisha - that is so cute. I know what you mean because LD is right on the cutoff date for kg. I'm tempted to hold him back until he is 6 but he's smart enough to go now. I think the first year is rough no matter what though. I'm glad i have a year to figure it all out.

take3 - i can see LD doing something like that. He's been talking about this every day since. "I don't like worms being food mommy." If he knew he was eating animals i think he would go vegetarian on me.
