It's obvious students already know sex is "fun." The aim of this program is to teach students how to be responsible when and if they have sex.
Schools shouldn't be teaching students how to make sex fun nor should they be be doing anything that might promote sexual promiscuity, which is essentially what this type of teaching does.
My concern is that kids will not be taught real life consequences... somehow the consequences to being sexually active aren't given much weight in sexual education classes. We teach our kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol, but when it comes to sex, we assume they'll all do it anyway, so might as well give them the tools to make it fun and keep the std's to a minimum. Ya, ok. Do kids know that sex isn't intended to be a recreational activity? I wonder.
Kids will be kids, but we're still the adults and we do bear some responsibility in all of this. It's really getting out of hand.
