Instapundit had an interesting quote from a reader. It seems there were only 65 days between 9/11 and the day Kabul fell to us. There have been 73 days (and counting) since the great O got the recommendations on troop levels for Afghanistan, still with no decision.
I've more respect for someone who boldly goes, even if they make a mistake, than for someone who refuses to go for fear of failure.

It's one of those things I've been told while playing hockey - it's important to make some decision - better a bad one than nothing at all.
I'm not saying he didn't have to think about it, but as you say it's been more than 2 months - you have to pull the trigger on a choice at some point.

And another thing, he was just packed full of ideas for the two years he was campaigning for President for all the things he'd do once he was crowned, and now suddenly he doesn't know what to do?
Why, it's almost as if he was just spouting off silly feel-good crap for the sake of scoring political points rather than speaking from any sort of principaled viewpoint!
Yeah, I know--hard to believe.

Not sure - if I can't figure out where you left it off, can I save it for later?
And the One doesn't posture simply for crass political gain - He merely stands looking noble and politics molds itself to his visage.
