Not too bright a remark about Libermann. Since he voted for the war, supports it and was tossed out like trash during the elections by the democrats, what made you think he would vote along their party lines?
"..voting with HIS own party." Come on now !!!

It is sad but true, most Americans have no idea what is going on in Washington. I asked my 20 year old college attending nephew what he thought of the war, congress, etc.
His exact words were "It doesn't affect me." I asked him why he thought so, he said he wasn't planning to join the military.
So I mentioned that he would be footing the bill for all this, he didn't understand what I was talking about. The national debt and the enormous budget deficits of the Bush white house, I explained, would likely be paid for by his generation through more income taxes.
"No..." he said.
Who do you think is going to pay for all this? He just kind of blinked a few times. I hope he starts asking questions.

I will not discuss the DOA bill. But, will discuss the misconception re: the budget deficit, and paying for the budget/debt. Unless the Dems muck it up and/or we have a significant economic down turn we are on a glide path to balance the budget in "08." Yes I said 08. Not 2012! The reason economic growth.
Funding 07 under a continuing resolution MAY have been an astute financial and political move. It is a stealth move just barely recognized by the Congress, both parties.

Co Rev,
Its not about the size of the budget, its about making the overall size of the budget look smaller than it really is, by using supplementals.
Which, by the way, is different from a continuing revolution.
Sorry, I'm puncht tonight from hearing too many Army generals pontificate.

And was re-elected by his state in repudiation of leftist cadre.
Yep that was kinda weird Skippy-San.
