If virtual visitation enhances the parent-child relationship by providing additional (instead of a replacement for) time with the kids, that is great. Unfortunately, cyber visitation risks abuse by a noncooperative parent. One can readily foresee situations where a child has been coached to say X, the virtual visitation is recorded, and the recording parent attempts to use the recording as evidence in custody proceedings.
