Maybe you could post somthing on how long it takes Tenneessee to even hold a child support hearing.
I filed for a hearing in Cumberland County in June of 04 to Reduce Child support only to learn that My Ex-spouse moved and could not be located.
I finally located her in Jan 05 and the fun begins. Her attorney has now canceled the court hearing for the third time (July 06, Dec 06, Jan 07) and apparently I have no recourse. I have been paying child support for two since my oldest graduated from high school in May 04.
I have had it with that State and think that it would be best if the federal Government handeled all child support and visitation issues. It is apparent to me that the states are not capable.
Does this story relate to William J. Beggs from Bloomington, Indiana, law firm of Bunger & Robertson? Apparently Mr. Beggs bungled a civil case involving Jan P. Szatkowski and Seth Patinkin, leading to several ethical violations and accusations of participation in a criminal conspiracy to deprive Patinkin (and possibly other Jewish landowners) of the fruits of his rental business. Patinkin is a protege of Nobel prize winner John Nash and was named to the "30 under 30" list of Indiana University last year.
I have had a horrible 6 years. I have a 7 year old who his father has been court ordered to pay child support(he is 5 weeks behind), took me to court Feb. 2006 for full custody of my son because I stopped letting him visit-too violent. When my son started Kindergarden, me and my fiance took my older son to school but I did not let my other child go because his father threatened me that he was going to show up. Well, he did. He lost his mind in front of my son's teacher, all the parents and kids. he assaulted my fiance and I was pregnant. Needless to say, he was put in jail. Now, he is starting again. I can not get a straight answer from anybody what to do. The last time my son came home from there, he was crying staying that he does not want to go back. His ears were covered in dirt!! Does anyone have any advise?
