This "recession" nonsense is nothing more than a typical Democrat election year ploy.
They did the same thing in 1992 when Bill Clinton insisted we had the "worst economy in 50 years."
You can bet that if a Democrat is elected in November (God forbid) and the growth rate is the same, the chattering classes will hail it as an economic miracle.
Hey, I did my share stimulating the economy. I just spent 2k on a fickin lawnmower. It's Made it the USA too. I think the biggest detriment to further economic growth is oil prices. We must start supplying ourselves with our own oil. How can we impress upon the powers that be that this must be done. Putting food into our fuel tanks just isn't going to cut the mustard. We need use our own supply of oil if we want our econmy to grow!! We can't have an Obama telling us we must adhere to what other countries want for us either.
Enough said, my new lawn mower is red!

It comes right out of the Leftist's Playbook - tell a lie long enough and eventually people will believe it's true.
We've seen how the peaceniks used "fear" to characterize us as "thugs, violent, hatefilled" - (sounds more like they are describing themselves)
The biased liberal media continues to brainwash and indoctrinate America with their misleading headlines and soundbites about how bad the economy is.
They will never admit that their Democrat Congress and Senate has been in power while gasoline prices soar - and they do nothing.
They will demonize and blame Bush, they will lie - they will hurt the troops and country - in order to topple a President that they can't stand.
They continue to put party before country - just to get liberals elected.
The liberals are brainwashing our youth in high schools and colleges (actually the indoctrinating begins in grade school these days), the newspapers continue the brainwashing. If you want to see what happens when the Democrats have all the power, just look at the city of Philadelphia.
I wish all these peaceniks would move to the city and complain about the violence and coruption there.
