I am a Republican for Obama. I do agree with you that the conservatives have lost their way. The party of big government and wasteful spending at least.
Once this useless primary season is over and the Democrats get behind Obama the American people will get a chance for a real choice between 2 good and very different men.
I like Sen. McCain and respect him and would vote for him if the Clintons somehow managed to steal this nomination.
But people of all stripes are fed up. Not just with Republicans but the traditional Democratic BS as well.
A real debate between youth and hope, and age and experience. Looking forward versus looking backward will be an interesting debate.
Actually I wish this were like the Founding Fathers day when the loser became VP. Both men could work together and it would be good for us all, but that can't happen.
The gas tax pandering shows the difference between these 2...anf maybe the real lack of McCain's economic knowledege
The Wright fiasco will go away soon and racial pandering by the right will backfire...people are sick of division.
If Obama can take on the powerful Clinton machine and the forces aligned against him, fund the campaign via the people and win what can he do to the less than enthusiastic Republicans? They are going to be woefully under funded and outmanned by the use of technology to drive the movement and volunteers.
The "machines" of the big states like Rendell, Strickland, Villaraigosa et al who worked against Obama will now be for him as will the Clintons.
Hold on tight but your 42 state landslide is possible, but just maybe Obama's way.
