Oh good one, I forgot about that! Luckily "LaTisha" is cool and I don't think she took it that way.
Being called on in class and not knowing the answer, especially when I was younger, was the worst. I was so shy as a kid so I remember that happening and just wanting to die.

Oh Sarah, that's horrible. I'm glad she just laughed about it.
My most embarassing moment is a long story so I'll just say I hate getting you know you name games, sometimes my hearing is not so good and I called a girl Dog instead of Doll...like Davra is a Dog, but she said Doll. It was bad, very bad.

Hi Sarah! You're embarrassing moment is actually very funny, but really only because she took it so well! Thank God for people with a sense of humor!
I took a stab at the question of the day, but I kind of changed it up a little bit.

That's like a Seinfelf episode- remember when he was dating a Native American woman and he kept saying things like "Indian giver" and "Indian summer"?
Quite funny. You're very lucky LaTisha was ok about it.

Sarah, I had to tell you this because I did the same type thing two years ago. I was in a car with 2 other white dudes and a black dude and we were on a road trip. I had made some "mix tapes" (okay, CDs) and they had a lot of punk music on them and the black dude was like, "What's with all the punk music?" and I said, "If I remember, right, I think you'll like the next song." It was "Slave" by Britney Spears. And I totally knew it was Britney, but I meant that he'd like it because it wasn't punk music. Luckily, he laughed it off, but I was so embarassed about it!

Yup, definitely cringing as I saw that one coming. BUT... I think the fact that you didn't even think about it ahead of time and that you were so incredibly mortified about it shows beyond all doubt that that's totally NOT what you actually meant (does that make sense?). As in, no WAY could that have been even the slightest bit serious. Glad she realized it, too!
