Thoughtful post - lovely photos
and I also enjoy watching English murder mysteries in the late afternoon - it's the perfect time!

Your "lazy" day sounds just wonderful Leslie. I just your photo's. I'm so amazed you still have yellow roses blooming..there are no blooms here in Vermont, we shall have to wait for Spring for that.
Enjoy this lovely day,
Doreen

Your gentle and peaceful thoughts shine through this post. I am glad I stopped by to be given such a nice treat. We need to stop and be quiet some days in order to get ready for the demands we have to meet on other days.

Just popping in again after an absence. Your prose is so calming and wonderful as usual.

Love that old piano and the way the light fills the pink petals over the dark grainy wood.
