Of course!! Let me know if/how I can help. I'm all for putting another brew day together. Too bad you couldn't come yesterday; we had a great time.
Sorry to hear about the Fail Whale. At the very least, hopefully it provided some insights to the brewing process. Everyone has a crap batch now & then (and typically when first starting out) - don't feel bad

My first beer tasted like I made it with salt water and I wound up dumping the last couple gallons of it. And of course I'd be up for the event.

You could always come to a Kansas City Bier Meister's meeting. We're the second oldest homebrew club in the nation, and all we do is get together, drink homebrew and talk about the brewing process. Every second Friday of the month.

Thanks guys. I was bummed, but not overly depressed. I think I was more upset about the scrubbing and the cleaning without the tasty beer to drink.
Ken, would the Bier Meisters be interested in an alternative location for a meet? I actually tried to email someone from your site previously, but it bounced back to me.

I agree with everyone else, we all make a bad batch sometimes, just don't let it discourage you - keep trying for sure. I'd totally be up for getting together some time and talking brewing, just let me know what your plans are for the meetup or if you'd like to join sometime whenever I brew the next batch.
Hang in there! The next one will be better.

If it makes you feel any better, this bottle of Boulevard Pale I'm drinking right now tastes a little off, and those guys certainly have better quality control methods than you had at your disposal.
I admire you for just trying. I still haven't gotten up the courage yet.
Mount horse. Fall off. Re-mount horse. Repeat as necessary.
