You got somethin' to say?

You have to go check out the Brickskellar.

They claim to have the largest beer selection of any place in the world with over 1,000 different beers available. I don't know if that's a true claim, but I cannot deny that there are a lot of beers there. Don't eat there, but grab a beer or six.

It's just west of Dupont Circle. 1000 types of beer and no Boulevard...

If you find yourself in Alexandria, check out the Union Street Public House. Some great local stuff there and a fun environment.

I'm no help in Baltimore...

Gravatar For beer in B'more, I suggest-
Max's Taphouse (in Fells Point) and Brewer's Art (microbrewery/restaurant) near Penn Station.

Gravatar Thnx guys!

Gravatar Just peeking in to see who's still out there. I haven't had a beer since last August! I had a good reason, though. And now I have a baby to show for it. I'll have to drink vicariously/visually through, for instance, your blog. :0)

Gravatar I was just in Baltimore & checked out 3 places:

1. Max's: awesome selection, nice bartender, bad atmosphere and even worse menu. I had 1.75 beers while listening to butt rock the whole time. I considered getting dinner, but why get burgers and sandwiches in Baltimore? Where's the seafood???

2. Brewer's Art: I only had one beer here (Ozzy - strong golden belgian) and it was fantastic. Their food menu is spectacular and highly recommended. They have 3 different areas: ground floor bar which is pretty but LOUD due to sound reverberation off many hard surfaces; ground floor restaurant which was far more fancy than I appeared at that time; basement bar which was everything I wanted in a beer bar - dark, awesome food, nice staff, old school punk music (think joan jett & ramones), beer served in proper glasses, and great for people-watching. I settled in for a couple of hours there.

Owl Bar: KC Hophead recommended this one to me. The beer selection wasn't fantastic, but the bar was gorgeous! It's an old speakeasy and the food was also delicious. I had crabcakes which were out of this WORLD. Recommend it for the food & atmosphere, not so much for the beer (mostly typical stuff like sam adams and stella, plus a few craft brews)

Gravatar What's the FG on the Cream?

If you got time I'm interested in your opinion from a marketing stand point on an article I wrote on my blog.
