Thanks for giving your advice.
You sold me on Article Architect but, I emailed them with questions and never received a response. It makes me a little leery because I want to know someone will help if I have questions after purchase. What's your opinion?

I do the same thing as Mike on more expensive products. I always send an email asking questions and if they don't respond; I won't remember them anyway. I download at least 100 MB per day anyway.
Another of my pet peeves is all the support software offered and their responses. Most of the time they expect me to remember to go and check some support number. Many others that do respond doesn't mention their site or the product and I haven't got a clue what the product was that I had questioned.
I have done business with Johnathon also with good results. I sometimes send an email and tell whoever I was comparing products and was leaning toward the other because of price. He should know he is paying affiliates at least 50% and would probably make me an offer to match or beat the other price.

I agree with both of you that customer support is very important. I have mixed feelings about the support ticket systems many use but am used to them since that's how AT&T, SBC, my hosting services and a ton of others have you report problems. And so far all the support tickets I've written have been responded to and fixed quickly - can't speak for Jay's if that what he uses since I don't think I've ever reported a problem or had a question with his product.
Mike, I can understand why you would be leery since no one responded however if you want to email me your questions I will answer them if I can. And if I can't, I'll still get back to you.
As for Johnathon, his team does answer inquiries quickly or at least they did a month or so back. I purchased his $7 Secret Report from 1 of his affiliates and didn't get to the download page. I emailed both Johnathon and his affiliate and got Johnathons's response a couple of hours before I heard from the affiliate. However when the new version came out, I found out from a sales page so wrote him again and quickly got a response on how to get the new version - just wished someone had emailed me first so I would not have had to ask.
As for Affiliate Architect, it comes with an instruction video that explains everything. There's nothing to install since it's a tool you use on your PC. I use windows but if you're a MAC user and want to know if it will work - I don't know the answer to that question. Also, when the new version came out, he contacted all his customers and gave us a free upgrade. I don't know if there will be any more upgrades since I can't think of anything this tool doesn't do for article writing.

I purchased AA. I'm trying to watch the training videos but the video that shows how to create the articles won't download. Won't bore you with details but, I submitted a trouble ticket yesterday and still don't have a reply.

AA certainly seems the way to go if you're writing articles at all. But I also have emailed Jay to find out if this product is compatible with Windows Vista operating system. since 3 months ago I've received no response except for the latest version coming out. does anyone have a clue if it does? I'm concerned because sooner or later all new PC's will come out with windows vista as a default,knowing Microsoft, and then where will we be?

Maybe I got lucky, but I emailed Jay today and received a response from him today.
I can't say anything about it working on Vista as I've since scrapped Vista and am back to working on XP.
As for Jay... he's still around and from what I gather, quite interested in making his product better.
Good comparison with the article writers, I will go for the Article Architect, it sounds good. Thanks.
Great rundown but I would like to add that although these programs are very similar they are a bit different. I watched both videos and found the following:
Article Architect - Great features for optimizing your articles for the search engines. And although it does have the feature to do article research it does take a bit of work. You still have to write out your articles from scratch.
Instant Article Wizard: This does just what it says, you can put an article together in a few minutes without any knowledge of the subject.
Looks to me like they are both very good tools for any Internet Marketers toolbox.
Good review, i have yet to try Article Architect but it sounds very promising. One question i have is how is the support compared to instant article wizard?
I bought instant article wizard but can not get it to work.
Does anyone know the secret?

Sorry I haven't been watching for questions and comments on this article for awhile however I'll do my best to answer the ones I can now.
No, I didn't buy Instant Article Wizard because while there may be some differences I think there would be a lot of redundancy.
Jewel, I am sorry you couldn't get Instant Article Wizard to work and wish I could help but can't. Hopefully by now Jonathan or his support staff have fixed your problem.
I also just found out that a new version Article Architect is coming out in a few days and Jay has already increased the price. However there is a way around paying the higher price for a few days and I'm posting a new article in just a minute about how to get in on the lower price unil Nov. 4, 2008. (Just look for the article I posted on October 30th.)
