I don't think cyclingnews will update their results, but USA Cycling has. The Merco folks accidentally put the 40th place girl in 2nd place when they sent out "official" results. Not sure what genius did that, since the results posted at the race were correct. Anyway, my point is: I was actually 9th! Woohoo! I am still flabbergasted by my newfound front-of-the-race-ness.

Since I choose to believe that all pro racers dope (just so I'm not disappointed when they finally get busted), I don't know why this matters, but...

I used to be a big Zabriskie guy. But, after his pal/training partner/roommate/sugar daddy Phloyd got nailed, I stopped cheering for Dave Z.

Guilt by association, I guess.
