Gravatar Well, you DID get my attention, but now I've out that on my grocery list.

Gravatar For me it's the classic smell of Coppertone. Or the strains of Summer Breeze by Seals and Croft I think. Then I squeeze my eyes and try not to remember that I weighed about 60 or 70 lubs less than I do now. Hahahahha! How are you Mary? Been thinking about you!

Gravatar Too funny and yes you not only grabbed my attention but kept it! I grew up in hot hot Florida and not only was there baby oil but lemon juice for the blonds (not me!). I guess Hawaiin Tropic brings back all of our youths but by high school I kept away from the beach (too boring). But the Grease soundtrack? Still brings it all back!

Gravatar Haaah Bain de soleil I believe I marinated myself in that regularly too
I associate suntan lotion with pina coladas too.
Green apple anything immediately takes me back to my first visit to the Macy's cosmetic counter and my early teens during the 70s.

Gravatar Not quite the same, but the smell of root beer float takes me back to early high school when I was earning money for college by babysitting...a lot! One family always had the makings for root beer floats handy. Soda was nonexistent at my house, so that was a true treat. When you are 14 it hardly gets better than sipping a cold root beer float and watching old movies on TV and getting paid for it to boot!
