The dough was like real life babies, always doing unexpected things. Refuse to relax or to rise, well at least you managed to squeeze it in during those crazy working hours of yours. Did you use the first dough version?

Yours too? I was amazed to see my dough all slack and tacky.. I used Gretchens revised recipe.. maybe that helps. Crazy schedule like yours and still skype-baking? Whatever the result: I bow deep!!

It was a weird dough, for sure. We kneaded and kneaded and it never felt "right." At some point we just gave up and said "Good enough!"

I hope your schedule gives you another break to bake.
