Gravatar The dough was like real life babies, always doing unexpected things. Refuse to relax or to rise, well at least you managed to squeeze it in during those crazy working hours of yours. Did you use the first dough version?

Gravatar So sorry the dough misbehaved - the newer recipe seems more supple. This skyping sounds like fun - I will have to get a laptop and a camera one day.

Gravatar Lien's got it ... this dough is like real life babies, they do when and if they're ready. And then there is just the mystery of yeast and flour to go with.

Gravatar Yours too? I was amazed to see my dough all slack and tacky.. I used Gretchens revised recipe.. maybe that helps. Crazy schedule like yours and still skype-baking? Whatever the result: I bow deep!!

Gravatar It was a weird dough, for sure. We kneaded and kneaded and it never felt "right." At some point we just gave up and said "Good enough!"

I hope your schedule gives you another break to bake.

Gravatar You're great in baking invisible babies..
Do try again , its fun to ( but only when your dough is like play-dough )
