Who Sneaked In?

Gravatar oh yes I knwo what you mean. We have another trick thanks to the ingenious of audiobooks. We have some Roald Dahl, Fairytales etc audiobooks. The readers for the children's books are usually very good with voices and sound effects esp Stephen Fry's Harry Potter series.
They won't overstimulate them with moving animation (like with portable dvds) but more soothign and comforting for long rides. for us they are lifesavers esp when you drive 6 hours on the road!

Gravatar Alayna is probably thinking: cor, my mom is so clever to learn so many songs! And she sounds great too.

Gravatar time spent singing your lungs out during karaoke has finally paid off.

are you off karaoke already?

Gravatar Lisa:
we don't have a tv/dvd player in the car. the kids watch too much tv as it is already.

audiobooks can be a good alternative (to my singing baa baa black sheep ad nauseam) . my only worry is that the papa will fall asleep at the wheel during long journeys without his music on :D

Leen:
kahkahkah.. but cannot beat aunty leen's singing la.

amazingly, she keeps quiet whenever i sing. it's either because she's awed or because she's thinking 'i better shut up before she starts that awful screeching again'. hiks.

the-plague:
hahahaha... not enough practise apparently. pitching ke laut katanya.

Gravatar i vote for nursery rhymes cd coz that did the trick with gib when i travelled with him alone when he was little. but if H is along for the ride, for sure tertidur punye. heheheheee

Gravatar babybooned
hahaha i remember torturing my parents and sibling with nursery rhymes during looooongg car rides. i refused to let anyone change to any other songs. i must've been such a pain.

i hope karma won't come and bite my ass.
