Who Sneaked In?

*sigh* strollers are so expensive these days. just like buying a car. heck, cars are cheaper! i been using mine for 7 years and my daughter's stroller only 1 year.

the-plague:
yeah, tell me abt it. ada yg sampai RM4k.. tsk..

actually there are cheaper versions. but of course we want the best for the children. tu sbb i can't quit my job. yet.

Gravatar I have MacLaren Techno XLT. Very comfy with the reversible suede pads. I think have in pink too. Price is 1.7k if not mistaken. Downside...damn heavy, 7kg.

Have Combi too. Very light and compact. Mine is only RM600. I have to switch to Maclaren when my boy is 3 months old because Combi is just too small for him.

Why don't you check out Robinsons, The Gardens? They have wide selections now and if you are member, get additional 10% off during sale.

But my boy refused to sit in stroller at 8 months. All strollers now in archive :p

Gravatar Amira:
what's the diff between techno xt and xlt? is it the padding material?

i have a combi, graco travel system and a very bulky evenflow (from 9 years ago!). hehe.. combi tu mmg pakai sampai ranap. the graco is too bulky, that's why i'm looking into compact strollers.

maclaren quest sport is on sale at mybbstore.com for RM764. quite tempting. but i think i'm more keen on the Silver Cross Pop stroller which costs a wee bit more. SC Fizz rupanya cannot recline flat. otherwise it'd be perfect cos it's so light.

thanks, i'll check out at Robinson's then.

Gravatar Hi,

Try Peg Prego, its a italian made and the frame is aluminium. You can find it in one of the shop at the Mall. I bought mine for me second son 3 years for about 1.4k.

Gravatar I know how it feels like if we have to pass the "old" stroller to the smaller kiddos! I refused to use Amsyar's old stroller on Armand before..well..it was already "out of style" and bulky. Not very stylo at that time haa haa..

So we got the Esprit stroller for him, bought it from Toys R Us at MidValley (sorry, I dont know the full description/name of that stroller). IMO, it quite fits what you're looking for. My sister got it first, in red..so I got the one in green..I think they also have it in blue. I think it's about RM400++ (ke masa sale ni..?). I take the stroller to keep my 2yo Armand put (he can go crazy running around) or when he dozes off..while I wear Zuleyka with pouch or sling or mei tai. Bila Armand dah bangun, slalunya Zuleyka tido so she'll go into the stroller then.

HTH

Gravatar One of the reasons I am loathe to even contemplate having another bundle of joy. I won't be able to use any of the baby stuff I have and will have to start from scratch! :D

For me, easy collapsibility and lightweight are the priority criteria when it comes to strollers.

BTW, you have been tagged. Details on my OJ. ;D

Gravatar kat giant ada jual strollers, rm150 to rm300. :D

but don't ask me if it's turbo-charged with exhaust pipe besar kepala gajah or anything like that la. so long as the wheels are properly aligned ...

Gravatar Kamar:
yes i've seen Peg Perego but it doesn't really catch my fancy, maybe because of its size (?). It's quite bulky isn't it?

thanks.

Millie:
ahuh, hubby was keen on the Esprit one too. but when we were at toys r us last weekend, there's only the blue on left. so.. nahhh... hehe.. if only it comes in more pastel colours

maybe u can consider the Buggy Board for Armand, so that baby can nap and he can hitch a ride at the back.

bedah not-so-tembam:
oh u'd be surprised, u might actually enjoy starting from scratch

thanks for the tag. ada gak modal for update nanti ek.

the-plague:
that's like telling your husband to switch his lancer to a proton saga. heheh..

Gravatar Yup, Peg Prego is bulky but also durable. Its been in and out of a plane luggage area with no problem.

Check it out at the shop in The Mall, the have also Peg Prego with not so bulky stail. I chose the one that I have now in away that I do not have to change it along the age. Btw it is aluminium frame so its light.

I dont know why I like Peg Prego, maybe because I like everything Italian..sigh..I should never sell my Alfa...

Gravatar Kamar:
btw, we've already bought the maclaren quest sport last weekend. i love this one, it's light and folds really compact. there is no need to go into the plane luggage area (where things are usually thrown about without much care, eeks). if it's up to my husband, he'd want something that can be folded small enough to fit into his pocket

thanks for your suggestion nevertheless .
