This sort of stuff is juvenile. Reid grew up in a tar paper shack in Nevada, now he's majority leader in the senate. Meanwhile the posters here are sitting at their computers, with or without pj's, pontificating about what a buffoon he is. One may disagree with his opinions but this guy is not a fool.

You say we're 'pontificating.' Did he not pontificate with "The war in Iraq is lost"? or of late accusing Rush Limbaugh of referring to our brave men and women in the U.S. military of being phony soldiers, without first looking at the details of Limbaugh's report? Or attempting AT THIS VERY MOMENT of pushing through a disgraceful and economy-damaging bill to allow illegal immigrants amnesty?

There are Mormons and there is what we call "Jack Mormons". Having lived in Nevada a few years back, and through one of Reid's election cycles, he was very adept at playing the "Mormon card" just before election time. I'd call Harry a Jack Mormon. And contrast his behavior to Mitt Romney, another Mormon, who does not play the "Mormon card". Indeed, getting him to talk about his religion is like pulling teeth. And why? We Mormons are just taught to do that which is right, and not to flaunt it or gloat about it. Because that's not right. So isn't it interesting that you have the two extremes in Mormondom--Harry and Mitt displaying their very different approaches to their religion? If Harry were REALLY a Mormon, he'd look in the mirror real hard, hang up his senate post, and retire.
