I like the first best. but as for the subjects, the one on the left is the most interesting!
I must try more Israeli wine. The only wine from the middle east I drink with any regularity (when money permits) is Chateau Musar from Lebanon
Have a great weekend Snoopy

My favorite photo is the first one. I am Not Allowed to drink wine since I am a cat, but my Mommie has some every night. Maybe I was not supposed to tell that...

I like the first one as well.
Wine is supposed to be good for your heart and I really should try to drink more but I seem to stay dry for months at a time and then try to drink it all in one evening. Not quite the intended effect I believe.

A very popular take on this theme. I prefer the first picture - mood. You can imagine candlelight.
Save some for tomorrow.

Alas, I am but a humble plebian and fail to see the need for decanter or glass. I'm sure my ancestors drank straight from the amphorae!
A great choice for the theme - one day I must try Israeli wine - I have been spoilt by the Oz reds!

The first one. You must be a bit posh to decant your wine!!
Mine's a boozy one too!

1st photo best.
Like your idea of instructions, my nails are now down to the quick, waiting for room temp wine, so have put near window with hot sun on the bottle, pour and sip the warmth glow as the tasty liquid goes down and warm the cockles of my heart. lol.

I like the first photo! By the way, the one in the middle is called a decanter? What does it do? I don't drink, so I don't know much about wine-related stuff..

Does the first pic look gloomy? I didn't find it that at all. I like the first presentation.
Also, the fact that the glass pieces are co-related is pretty clever.

Well, as an advertising person, both are beautiful depending on what's your intention of using the photo for.
The first one which has the strong look is normally used in advertisement materials (eg. posters, magazine covers & advertisements) as it has less distractions and will direct the readers' eyes right to the product itself.
The second one has a milder interpretation and is normally used in an article or post. You would prefer readers to read your article more right?
So, there's no which one is the best as both are equally beautiful, except that the reflections on the glasses in the first photo are totally wrong. It should not show so many details of the surrounding areas. :P

I like both pics equally, for different reasons. The dark background highlights the decanter, and the blue background highlights the bottle and its pretty label. Nice take on this week's theme. Have a lovely weekend!

I like the first. I think if the second's tablecloth had been something brighter I'd have liked it best. By the way, I seldom bother with the middle piece...I go straight from bottle to glass to mouth!. I know that reveals me as an amateur, but so be it. Thanks for stopping by Spatter...

I really like the second item; is it a decanter? I don't know the fancy names for glassware. But I love the shape. If my cats wouldn't break it (probably deliberately, too), then I would probably try to find one for myself.
