Gravatar I think that after Olmert messengers took the credit for himdelf, Netanyahu had no choice but to admitte that he was part of the decision as the opposition leader. At last, every thing is political. Even the anouncement of Eitan Cabel (Who is that Eitan Cabel at all? (-

Gravatar The issue here, Abe, is that up till Bibi's appearance on TV, no Israeli official admitted the mere fact of the incursion in Syria. So, credit where credit is due - Bibi made it, let's confess...

Gravatar I must say I fail to see the point of this tap dance. Why should the Israel government keep quiet about it? Who/what benefits?

Gravatar I'm a huge Bibi fan...especially compared to Olmert. In fact, my uncle Lenny looks pretty fantastic next to Olmert as the PM. It all boils down to our need to have Bibi, or someone else from Likud in office that isn't:
A) going to hand over the keys to Jerusalem and half our country to our sworn enemies, and
B) afraid to take the fight to our enemies BEFORE they bring the fight to our towns and cities.

Gravatar Re Bibi - there is a huge gap between saying a person stands for something and really standing up for it, which in Bibi's case was too clear, unfortunately.

Gravatar Dick - maybe there was a tacit understanding with Syrians of the kind "you keep quiet about the attack and we'll keep quiet about what was attacked". Or whatever, this is immaterial in this case. When a leader of the opposition starts blabbing after getting an update from his PM, this is a scandal by any measures, no matter what are the politics of both.

And this is not the first time Bibi does it.
