It's seemeth to me that you are commenting more on a mere perusal of the info rather than having actually sat through the video presentation. I have done some relative study of the problems with the modern calendar system, there was no date manipulation by Mr. Larsen. The software used does not allow for date manipulation either. He did not give a birth date for Jesus but a visitation date for the Magus.
Miracles? The miracle is the fact that all of this was put into motion at the foundation. I wouldn't trust the Catholic hierarchy with my night crawler worm collection. Talk about manipulation of the facts, Yeeesh!

I appreciate the guarded assessment of this bethelehemstar.net blurb. However, to invalidate someone's argument simply because they aren't in the field they study is silly.
This author's video is compelling. If you don't want to sit through that, the web site pretty much sums things up as the author found them. Unless we find out that Kepler, Galileo and Brahe were all wrong in their math about the motion of stars and planets, this guy isn't saying anything that you can't corroborate with $50 and a copy of Starry Night.
The important thing about this is that it is falsifiable. If some atheistic astronomer or skeptical star gazer want to falsify it they can, if they can't it gives it a lot more weight. So far I have been looking and have found no refuatations.
Snoopy (thomas?)you sure delve into your religion lightly, ya might want to actually read more for your self and watch the video too it wont hurt. I loved mr. larsons work and consider it a blessing. knowlege is increasing after all.
