Irena Sendler, a Polish social worker who helped save some 2,500 Jewish children from the Nazis by smuggling them out of the Warsaw Ghetto and giving them false identities has died at age 98. See http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spa...ges/ 982631.html for her obitury.

Akaky - it is with heavy heart that I read that hint directed at the only group of people that (at the final reckoning) will be seated at the same row as the Elders. I mean producers of single malt whisky (or whiskey as you have put it). I believe that any commercial considerations are below this enlightened and saintly, albeit too small, population of best and finest.
