I wasn't aware of any construction taking place to build the Atlantic Yards project. True, there have been some demolitions, but no building can proceed until ongoing legal challenges are resolved.

To add to Steve's comment, demolitions have been allowed to continue only on some buildings that were partially demolished at the time that the demolition suspension was announced.

Abatement is continuing on the Ward Bakery building where the parapet collapsed two months ago.

Prep work on the railyards continues though.

i consider the demolition to be the first stage of the construction. whether that's technically correct or not, i don't know.
